FrogandToad is changing! After launching online over 7 years ago and serving well over 3 million visitors, it is time for a well overdue upgrade.

So, we are giving ourselves a facelift. A new look and feel, additional content, online and offline booking facilities, easier site navigation, social interactivity, further integration of relevant and localised information, interactive maps, and additional listing options for local tourism businesses.

Travel Bookings NOW ONLINE - A completely revised online booking section, allowing site visitors to easily and securely search, compare and make reservations for discounted flights, accommodation (from hostels through to five star hotels and resorts), day tours, transfers, sightseeing and activities, uniquely Australian activities and experiences, car hire, motorhomes, travel insurance and more. Links and booking facilities are provided through some of the industry's leading travel providers, resulting in a safe, secure online booking environment. Travel Services COMING SOON - FrogandToad will soon be offering a personal travel service to enable us to assist you in making the most of your Australian travel plans. Our staff have over 20 years' experience in the industry here in Australia, and we are looking forward to providing the assistance you need for your Australian travel arrangements. We will be putting together some excellent trip ideas, or you can simply let us know what you are after, and let us manage your travel plans. We will take the stress and hassle out of arranging it all yourself, putting together a specialised travel itinerary just for you. Travel Auctions NOW ONLINE - The fun and thril of winning an online Auction!! Through our managing partner, The Travel Around Company, we regularly list a range of bargain priced accommodation, tour, cruise, adrenaline packed activities and other assorted travel items for auction on eBay. It's a bit of fun, and something we like to do a little different. Our travel auctions are usually gift vouchers which are sourced directly from suppliers, and contain no gimmicks, no minimum income qualifications, no compulsory "sales presentations", and absolutely no hidden extras. Australia Guide COMING SOON - We are working on a complete revision of FrogandToad's Australia guide, including revision of the overall site template, updating and streamlining site navigation, and adding a number of improvements and new features to the localised guides. Plans are afoot to increase the size of site from 5,000 pages of localised content to over 12,000 pages of information, links and interactive content. Some of these new improvements to the content will include:- Localised news headlines relevant to each region Localised Weather Interactive Google Maps Latest Fuel prices (capital cities only) Local employment vacancies Localised Online Travel Booking Links Improvements and enhancements to the links and information on local tourism, restaurants, entertainment and recreational businesses. Incorporation of social interaction / user contributions and reviews Social Network COMING SOON - User interaction, e-cards, reviews, forums, photo galleries, articles and more. "My Frog" is the place where like minded travellers can meet online, share stories, photos, and thoughts on their travels throughout Australia. Also offers a free member area where members can journal their travels, "meet" up with potential travel buddies, and share calendars and events across their social network. Travel Classifieds COMING SOON - An exhaustive listing solution for travel, tourism, dining, leisure, entertainment and recreation businesses throughout Australia and around the world. Free user membership offers downloads, save favourites, extensive user management, exclusive offers and "click to call" facilities to contact advertisers directly over the phone from the listing. An inexpensive resource for industry partners to advertise their business online, incorporated directly into FrogandToad. Indigenous Australia NOW ONLINE - Indigenous Australia has been updated with a new look and feel, revised navigation, additional links to indigenous based activities and tours, space for user comments and an updated links section to other indigenous based websites. Plans are underway to produce .pdf versions of site content which will be able to be downloaded for use in educational institutions as a part of indigenous studies programs.
