Noraville, Lake Munmorah, Budgewoi, Toukley
The historic Norah Head Lighthouse has spectacular views along the
coastline and over a small section of rainforest
down to the small resort town of Noraville. The areas rugged coastline
dissipates into the northern finger of Wyrrabalong National Park,
a 500 hectare sand barrier separating Tuggerah Lake from the Pacific
Ocean.
Up the coast, the town Lake Munmorah lies
in between
the lake with the same name
and Munmorah State Recreation Reserve. The reserve terrain consists of
small pockets of rainforest, wetlands, and wooded heath complete with campgrounds
and over ten kilometres of pristine beaches. Lake Munmorah itself is
a watersports paradise.
Inland, Budgewoi and Toukley are nestled on two spits of
land which separate the districts waterways. Parallel to each other and
surrounded by calm, glistening lakes, they too provide perfect
watersports conditions.
