To get your visa application, you have to decide whether to
go through an agency - which cost more, but they do
everything for you,
or deal directly with the embassy - Personally I went through
an Agency "Trailfinders".
Access Trailfinders website here
For your application to be accepted, the first thing that you need is
two thousand pounds which has to be the funds available for your time
in the country.
Once you have the money, you need a note from your doctor saying
that you are healthy -
so as long as you are fit and don't look like death warmed up from the
night before, your doctor
will probably be happy to write this for you.
Next you must prepare yourself for probably the most arduous task in obtaining the visa
- the photo. Actually four passport photo's are needed, all reasonably respectable.
If you are lucky enough, you will get a photo booth that lets you select your image - but be aware you can only change the image eight time, before it gets a mind of it's own and gives you the
ninth picture.
So just a little bit of advise; don't smile, don't look unhappy, don't look dodgy,
and definately don't be too fussy!
Finally you need is a copy of you bank statement confirming your two thousand pounds.
Sound easy? well not always - watch out for cheque's clearing, delays in statement, etc.
Now you are ready to send it off, all you can do is sit, wait and hope they accept your application (excellent drinking time).
Good Luck!
